Twenty centimetres across and only seven deep. The Denham is the flattest pendant we make, a straight sided drum of travertine with a crisp lower edge and a diffuser set just inside it, hung on a single cable from a walnut canopy.
Wide and shallow is the proportion that works over a table in a room with an ordinary ceiling height. You get the coverage of a big shade without the mass of one hanging in the middle of the room.
Where it earns its place

Dining tables in normal rooms. Enough spread for four to six places from a single fitting, with nothing bulky at eye level.

Kitchen islands. Two of these cover a run better than one large shade, and they let you keep the drop shallow.

Rooms where the ceiling is the problem. Seven centimetres of shade means you can hang it lower without it feeling close.

Alongside the rounded shapes. The straight sides and sharp bottom edge give the collection its one crisp silhouette.
Real stone, so no two are the same
A straight sided drum shows the banding as horizontal lines wrapping the shade, so it reads more like a section through the block than the curved shapes do. Yours will not be an exact match for the photographs. A life size macro sits in the gallery.
Hanging it
The cable arrives at 200 cm and is shortened on the day. Because the shade is so shallow, this is the one in the range where the drop does all the work: hang it at the height you want the light and the fitting will not fight you. Over a table, measure 75 to 85 cm from the top of the table. Warm white E27 LED bulb supplied, not dimmable.
